Complete Service List

Everything we offer

General Dentistry

Dental exams & cleanings

We make sure you receive the highest level of care and help you establish a home hygiene routine that keeps your teeth healthy and white.

Dental fillings

Bacteria feed on sugars and produce acid that causes cavities. The affected area is removed to stop decay spreading deeper. Fillings take one appointment, usually with local anesthetic, and are done in tooth-colored composite.

Periodontal therapy

A conservative, non-surgical program of 2, 4 or 6 visits to control gum disease, eliminate bleeding and mouth odor, and reduce gum pocket depths.

Root canal

When the nerve inside a tooth becomes infected it needs to be removed. Left untreated, an infection can become an abscess, a more serious problem that includes bone loss in the jaw.

Night guard

Protects the surfaces of your teeth from being worn down by constant grinding and clenching.

Tooth extractions

Wisdom teeth are removed to correct an existing problem or prevent future ones, especially when there isn’t enough jaw bone for them to erupt properly.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Teeth whitening

Deep stains from coffee, tea, cola, wine or smoking need a more powerful whitening solution, only available from a dental professional.

Tooth bonding

A tooth-colored resin is bonded to the tooth with adhesive and a high-intensity curing light, improving the look of a discolored or chipped tooth.

Porcelain veneers

Very thin ceramic shells that cover your existing teeth to fix staining, cracks, chips, spaces and misalignment.

Dental crowns

Natural-looking crowns that restore the shape, strength and appearance of a damaged tooth.

Invisalign® clear aligners

Straighten teeth invisibly, without metal braces.

Restorative Dentistry

Dental crowns

When too much healthy tooth structure is lost for a filling, a crown covers the entire tooth above the gums. Two appointments, made in a lab from an exact mold of your tooth.

Dental bridges

A bridge is several crowns joined together to replace one or more missing teeth. We explain every replacement option so you can make an informed, pressure-free choice.

Dentures & partials

Complete full and partial denture service, including new custom-fitted dentures that function well and look beautiful.

Dental implants

A small titanium post placed below the gum to anchor an artificial tooth (implant crown).

Pediatric Services

Dental exams & cleanings

Gentle check-ups and cleanings that build healthy habits early.

Dental fillings

Tooth-colored fillings that stop decay and protect growing smiles.

Dental sealants

A thin coating painted on the chewing surfaces of back teeth that bonds into the grooves and shields the enamel from decay.

Invisalign®

Clear aligners to straighten teeth without metal braces.

Sports mouth guard

Protects the teeth and mouth in case of a sudden, hard impact.

FAQ

Questions about treatment

Have another question? Call us at (310) 696-9890.

How do I know which service I need?

Book an exam. Dr. Malakuti will assess your teeth and gums, talk through your goals and recommend the options that make sense for you.

Do you see children as well as adults?

Yes. Pediatric dentistry is offered alongside general, cosmetic and restorative care, so the whole family can be seen in one practice.

What’s the difference between whitening and veneers?

Whitening lightens the natural color of your teeth. Veneers cover the front surface, so they can also change shape, size and alignment.

How often should I have a dental cleaning?

Most patients benefit from a cleaning and check-up about every six months. Some people, such as those with gum disease, may need visits more often.

I’m nervous about dental work. Can you help?

Absolutely. Patients often mention how calm and patient Dr. Malakuti is. Let us know about your concerns when you book and we’ll take things at your pace.
